Yesterday we saw some bullish action in Viacom, with one options trader buying 60,000 December 60 calls for $0.50 each with the stock at 54.59.
Stocks closed lower in a see-saw session Wednesday after the Federal Reserve maintained its current monetary policy but left the door open for additional stimulus should conditions warrant. The Fed said it will continue to hold interest rates low through at least 2014 and continue Operation Twist through the end of the year.
Disney CEO Bob Iger finally appointed a new chairman of Walt Disney studios-- Alan Horn, who was President and COO of Warner Brothers Entertainment. Horn replaces Rich Ross, who left on April 20th in the wake of the John Carter bomb.
