NBA Hall-of-Famer and businessman Shaquille O'Neal is trying to sell his Bell Canyon, California home for $2.5 million via Instagram after buying it in February 2018 for $1.8 million.

The basketball star previously listed the home with LA-based real estate agency Compass last December but withdrew the listing and decided to try a new approach: social media.

On Thursday, O'Neal posted a video giving his 15.3 million follows a look inside his 5,217-square-foot home in a gated equestrian community outside Los Angeles (just a few miles from where Kanye and Kim Kardashian West live).

(In October, Justin Bieber posted images of the interior of his home on Instagram, writing in the caption: "I think I wanna sell my home in Beverly Hills who wants it?")

O'Neal's house has five bedrooms, four-and-a-half bathrooms and sits on a 1-acre lot, according to the post.

O'Neal has updated the property, including new carpeting, custom closets and landscaping upgrades, according to a Compass spokesperson, who previously held the listing.

"The house is walking distance from the community center, state of the art gym and tennis courts," O'Neal writes.

In addition to the L.A. property, Shaq has a mansion Orlando, Florida that he's owned for more 26 years. He listed that property for $22 million in December 2018. It did not sell and is no longer listed.
