Chase Ink Business bonuses

How good are these bonuses?
Both the Ink Business Cash and Ink Business Unlimited are offering best-ever welcome bonuses: Earn $1,000 cash back after spending $8,000 in the first four months of account opening. The cards typically offer a $750 bonus (albeit with lower $6,000 spending requirements), so this new bonus is 33% more valuable.
While these are business credit cards, that doesn’t mean you’re ineligible if you don’t own a million-dollar business. Freelancing, being a sole proprietor or even just having a side gig can all qualify you for a business card. While this best-ever offer is ending soon, make sure you’re comfortable with the $8,000 spending limit before you apply.
What can you do with these Chase points?
Potentially the best aspect of this welcome bonus is that it technically comes in the form of 100,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards® points. This rewards currency is worth roughly 1 cent per point, but your points can be worth more when paired with a premium Chase card that allows airline and hotel transfers, like the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card (see rates and fees).
If you find the right partner deal, your points value could be three or four times higher. Plus, booking with points often means more flexibility with your ticket options. Many programs allow cancellation and will redeposit your points without a fee, but it can vary, so double-check yours specifically.
Since Chase uses dynamic pricing with its award flights, prices constantly change based on demand. At the time of writing, you can book a round-trip flight from New York City to London for just 73,000 points, still leaving you with 25% of your rewards left. If you’d prefer a luxury stay, you can book three nights at the Hôtel du Louvre in Paris, France, for 35,000 points per night. The hotel is a category 8 Hyatt property, their most premium level, with rooms averaging over $550 per night.

Which card is a better fit for me?
The Ink Business Unlimited and Business Cash are solid options for small- or medium-sized businesses looking to expand.
The biggest factor in deciding between cards is the way they earn rewards. The Business Unlimited earns a flat 1.5% cash back on all purchases. The Business Cash offers more variety with 5% cash back on business essentials (office supply stores and on internet, cable and phone services) and 2% back on dining and gas, each up to $25,000 in spending each account anniversary year.
If your business’ spending tends to be a little inconsistent, then the flat-rate Unlimited card might be the better fit — plus you don’t have to worry about hitting any reward caps. If your company spends heavily on office supply stores and on internet and other services, the Business Cash could get you more value with its higher rewards rate.
