On October 23rd The Pitt Boss recommended buying Vmware (VMW). At the time he said, "This is the first earnings for VMWare. (I think) they will crush this number. They will absolutely crush it."
And crush it, they did. Shares of this “virtualization” firm soared after the year’s hottest tech IPO tripled profits. Pete’s trade returned 10%.
Karen Finerman
On September 20th The Chairwoman recommended buying BEA Systems (BEAS). At the time she said, “Carl Icahn has taken a position in BEA Systems.. I owned it before he came along and I'm sticking with my BEAS."
The Chairwoman and her idol, Carl Icahn can both spot a bargain. After Oracle said they wanted to own BEAS, shares exploded, up 40% since Finerman’s call.
Jeff Macke
On September 27th the Lone Wolf recommended buying Yahoo! (YHOO). At the time he said, "I'm flipping on Yahoo - it's back!"
After earnings topped estimates, Yahoo! gave investors something to shout about. Shares are up nearly 20% since the Lone Wolf’s call.
Guy Adami
On September 20th The Negotiator recommended buying Microsoft (MSFT). At the time he said, “I think Microsoft is going to have a record quarter because a lot of their revenues are from PC sales. Look for them in October to knock the cover off the ball.”
Microsoft shocked the Street with blowout earnings and shares have jumped 11% since Adami made the call.
