Stocks On The Move: Medtronic, Flowserve...

Following are the week’s biggest winners and losers. Find out why shares of Medtronic (MDT) and Flowserve (FLS) popped while Merck (MRK) and Callaway Golf (ELY) dropped.

POPS (stocks that jumped higher)

Medtronic (MDT) popped 4%. Medtronic received FDA approval to sell its drug-coated stent, Endeavor. – Be careful with this stock, says Pete Najarian.

Flowserve (FLS) popped 17%. This maker of pumps and valves for petroleum processing forecast full-year earnings that exceeded expectations.  – If you own it take a little off the table, says Karen Finerman.

Mastercard (MA) popped 11%. There was a seven-fold increase in profit for Mastercard as consumers increased their dependence on credit. – Adami told you so, says Jeff Macke.

Cemex (CX) popped 14%. The nation's largest cement producer stood behind its '08 profit forecast in the face of a slumping housing market. – I like this stock, says Tim Seymour.

Estee Lauder (EL) popped 14%. International demand for skin care products like "Pore Minimizing Skin Refinisher" helped boost profits.

Crocs (CROX) popped 26%. The rubber clogs were running higher, yet again. – The move is phenomenal, says Pete Najarian.

General Motors (GM) popped 12%. GM reported U.S. vehicle sales in January were up 2.1%.

JetBlue (JBLU) popped 45%. The airline reported its first annual profit in three years this week.

DROPS (stocks that slid lower)

Callaway Golf (ELY) dropped 3%. The maker of Big Bertha clubs said sales of golf balls and wood clubs fell, leading to a loss.

Merck (MRK) dropped 4%. Earlier this week the drugmaker reported a fourth- quarter loss and sales of the Gardasil cervical cancer vaccine that missed analysts' estimates.

Pzena Investment Management (PZN) dropped 10%. - The financial services firm, run by Richard Pzena, popped 23% yesterday only to drop 10% today -- all on no news.

Adami's Wisdom Teeth. The Negotiator couldn't negotiate his way out of the dentists office. Adami missed today's show to have 3 impacted wisdom teeth removed.
