Procter & Gamble Boosts Dividend by 14%

Procter & Gamble said on Tuesday its board of directors had approved a 14 percent rise in its quarterly dividend to 40 cents per share.

The dividend is payable on or after May 15, 2008, to shareholders of record at the close of business on April 18, 2008.

Shares of Procter & Gamble were up marginally in extended trading Tuesday.
