Lightning Round: Wells Fargo, Goodyear, Waste Management and More

Wells Fargo : Cramer likes both WFC’s common and preferred stock. Declining mortgage rates should boost Wells Fargo, which has a big mortgage portfolio, and the bank’s secondary offering seems to be holding up well, he said.

Goodyear Tire : Both the autos and oil markets need to improve before Cramer can recommend GT, he said.

American Ecology : This stock is cheap, Cramer said, and he likes the dividend yield. ECOL is a buy. Waste Management , though, is his favorite in this sector.

Isis Pharmaceuticals : Isis is, at best, a speculation play, and not a great one at that, Cramer said. He won’t recommend this stock right now.

Copart : Cramer’s bullish on CPRT.

Hartford Financial : This property and casualty insurance business is worth twice what the stock’s trading price, Cramer said. HIG is a “keeper.” Just wait for weakness before buying.
