Lightning Round: GM, Sprint, Harley-Davidson and More

Linn Energy : Go with Kinder Morgan Energy Partners instead, Cramer said. Better to own a company that moves oil and gas right now rather than one that digs for it.

Con-Way : Cramer won’t CNW. The company has too much economic exposure, he said.

Optimer Pharmaceuticals : OPTR works as a speculation play, Cramer said.

OM Group : There’s still potential for OM Group to decline, Cramer said. He can’t recommend this minerals company right now, at least not until China is again driving the global economy.

General Motors : “Too speculative for me,” Cramer said. Stay away from GM.

XTO Energy : XTO doesn’t work right now, not with natural gas the commodity under so much pressure.

Advisory Board : Cramer took a pass on ABCO, saying he doesn’t know the stock well enough. He promised to revisit the company.

Harley-Davidson : The economy’s too tough right now to recommend a company that makes products bought with discretionary income.

Sprint Nextel : This is another stock that’s just too speculative for Cramer.
