Stan "The Man" Lee, co-creator of some of comic book's most famous characters has become a superhero at the box office. The films based on Lee’s creations have generated nearly 3 billion dollars in domestic gross.

Robert Downey Jr. plays Tony Stark in this well reviewed film directed by Jon Favreau. The film was a box-office success from opening weekend and it’s total domestic gross was more than $318 million dollars.
