What to Ask Your CFP

From how to invest to how to protect what you’ve got, you want answers from your financial advisor – after all, that is what you pay them for. But in order to get the best answers, you need to ask the right questions. So we asked two certified financial planners what one question they wished their clients asked them but don’t:

Kelly Campbell, principal at Campbell Wealth Management, says he wishes his clients asked him how much risk they are taking on in their investments right now. This important issue is rarely breached, he says.

Julie Casserly, president of JMC Wealth Management and author of The Emotion Behind Money says more people need to ask their advisors what their expectations are of them as a client.
