BREAKING NEWS: STRESS TEST RATIOS
CNBC’s Mary Thompson reveals the very latest details on the stress tests.
She says the stress tests require that the 19 banks have a Tier 1 Capital Ratio of 6% and a TCE ratio of 4% by the end of 2010.
Additionally, any bank that needs to augment its capital buffer to reach these ratios needs to submit plans by June 8th of this year.
And then the plans need to put in place by November 9th of this year.
Also she says the government is asking the banks to outline how they will repay TARP money, over time.
