DR Horton

The homebuilder missed analysts expectations reporting a loss of 73 cents a share on revenue of $1.01 billion. Analysts estimated the company would post a 30 cents loss with sales of $1.11 billion.

J.M. Smucker

The food manufacturing company posted earnings of $1.22 a share, 18 cents more than a year ago. Revenue grew to $1.28 billion from last year's $843 million.
