Pops & Drops: Boeing, Ford

Following are the week’s biggest winners and losers. Find out why shares of Boeing and Ford popped while Honeywell and Google dropped.

POPS (stocks that jumped higher)

Boeing (BA) popped 5%. The aviation giant reported a profit despite a downturn in air travel that reduced order for its planes. - I can't get on board, says Karen Finerman.

Ford (F) popped 3%. The car maker wowed the Street reporting its first full-year profit since 2005. - A good week for the letter F, says Tim Seymour.

Netflix (NFLX) popped 22%. The online DVD rental company beat on earnings due to increased subscribers and margins. - Looks great, says Gary Kaminksy.

DROPS (stocks that slid lower)

Honeywell (HON) dropped 9%. The industrial name said earnings fell from last year due to continued weakness in aerospace and construction. - It's a buy, says Joe Terranova.

Qualcomm (QCOM) dropped 19%. The chip maker reduced its full year revenue outlook.

Google (GOOG) dropped 9%. Negative catalysts abound from fears about China to reports that the Nexus One experienced a nationwide data outage.

Yahoo! (YHOO) dropped 11%. Investors worried that Yahoo's weakness in search advertising will "overshadow" any recovery in display advertising.

Texas Instruments (TXN) dropped 8%. Although the chip maker topped estimates investors appear worried about excess inventories.
