The News: The European Central Bank is expected to hold interest rates at a record low level of 1% at its monthly meeting on Thursday. Separately the Bank of England is expected to keep rates at 0.5%.

The News: Thursday will be the last day to trade ahead of the all important jobs number. As you might remember, Obama advisor Larry Summers told us the recent blizzards were likely to distort the results.
