Lightning Round: Sandridge Energy, Westport Innovations, General Mills and More

Sandridge Energy : The last quarter was “awful,” Cramer said. So as much as he likes the company’s assets, he can’t get behind Sandridge right now.

Varian Semiconductor : Cramer is bullish on VSEA.

Westport Innovations : WPRT is a “winner,” Cramer said, but he thinks Cummins is a better play.

Anadarko Petroleum : This is another company that Cramer likes but can’t get behind. Anadarko was a partner with BP on its lost Gulf of Mexico rig, and he’s not sure how much of the spill APC will be responsible for. So in the meantime, investors should “stay away.”

General Mills : GIS is a buy, Cramer said.

Nordic American Tanker : Cramer is still bullish NAT and its dividend.

Hovnanian Enterprises : “That one is just not good enough for me,” Cramer said. If investors want to own a homebuilder, they should consider Standard Pacific under $5.

Cramer’s charitable trust owns BP and Cummins.
