Awaiting Facebook's Mystery Announcement

In just a few hours Mark Zuckerberg will take the stage at Facebook headquarters to announce new services for the 550 million member social network.

We'll be monitoring the news, coming at 10:30 am Pacific, 1:30 pm Eastern. The company has stayed mum on the news and has done a remarkable job of keeping it from leaking out, though speculation has been rampant.

So what will Facebook reveal?

It's not a product announcement — so it's not a Facebook phone and it's not a much-rumored further integration with Skype.

So what else is there? There's been talk of an upcoming Facebook App for the iPad , a redesign of the site, more features for your profile, news on Facebook Credits, a new version of 'chat,' new "Events" to compete with Evite, and a Facebook 'bar' like Meebo's, to sit at the bottom of your web browser.
