Despite a choppy trading session on Thursday, U.S. stocks were able to finish near session highs with the major indices ending in the green.

The "Fast Money" traders, though, were watching five names in particular:

Alpha Natural Resources : As the price of coal continues to climb, shares of Alpha Natural Resources are also pushing higher. Anthony Scaramucci of SkyBridge Capital thinks coal prices will remain resilient. He likes the Abingdon, Va.-based company's stock and remains a buyer of ANR.

WebMD Health : Billionaire investor Carl Icahn on Thursday increased his position in this Internet company's stock. Metropolitan Capital president Karen Finerman isn't following him into WBMD, though.

CVS Caremark : The pharmacy services company on Thursday reported its third-quarter profit rose by 7 percent. Finerman has long liked CVS and remains a buyer.

Canadian Natural Resources : This is the name to own, trader Joe Terranova said. The oil and gas company on Thursday reported strong earnings results. He also likes oil plays Hess and Suncor , as well.

Netflix : Although the Internet company's stock pushed higher Thursday, Stephen Weiss of Short Hills Capital still isn't interested. He thinks it's business model is "broken."
