The discontinued German currency is apparently making a quiet comeback.

Matt Malone, who lives in Bamberg, writes to say that he spotted vendor stalls at a Christmas market advertising that they would accept Deutsche Marks.

The exchange rate is currently 2 DM to 1 euro.
