Every portfolio needs some nice, safe, consistent companies with high yields, “Mad Money” host Cramer said Tuesday, and Dominion Resources is one such name.

One of America’s largest producers and transporters of energy, Dominion Resources just boosted its dividend by 7 percent on January 20th, bringing its yield up to 4.2 percent.

“I like Dominion because they understand the need for consistency better than just about anybody,” Cramer said.

The Richmond, Va.-based company has undergone a major transformation over the last five years—getting out of oil and gas producing, but hanging onto its natural gas gathering, pipeline and storage assets.
