Kim Kardashian is using social media to further build her burgeoning business empire.

“I’m not trying to rebrand my image, I’m trying to use social media to figure out what my fans like and make a brand for my fans,” the reality TV star and entrepreneur told CNBC’s on Wednesday.

“Fashion, beauty, diet and fragrance, that’ is what they’re asking for when I reach out to them via social media,”

That has led Kardashian and her sisters to partner with BoldFace , a celebrity beauty license company in which she holds a 10 percent stake, to create a “luxury to mass” color cosmetic line.

BoldFace CEO Nicole Ostoya said Kim Kardashian brings social media power to BoldFace.

Ostoya said in the interview celebrity licensing is just now begnning to change. “It’s not just people slapping your name on something, there looking for someone to help them bring out their true inner brand," she said.

“That’s why our partnership work so well because we understand what the Kardashians want to make,” Ostoya said.
