Japan Hot Stocks- Sanyo Industries, Pioneer

TOKYO, Oct 9 (Reuters) - The benchmark Nikkei average

fell 1.1 percent and the broader TOPIX was 1.2percent lower on Tuesday. The following stocks were on the move:**SANYO INDUSTRIES CLIMBS AFTER FORECASTING OPERPROFIT**

Sanyo Industries Ltd shot up 14.1 percent to 146 yen, afive-month high, after the construction materials maker forecastan operating profit of 200 million yen ($2.56 million) for thesix months ending Sept. 30, up from a previous forecast of anoperating loss of 100 million yen, thanks to cost-cuttingefforts.

Sanyo said it would pay an annual dividend of 5 yen, up froma previous forecast of 2.5 yen.

**PIONEER CORP FALLS ON NET LOSS F'CAST, DEUTSCHEDOWNBEAT**

Pioneer Corp dropped 5.3 percent to 161 yen, a three-yearlow, after the car electronics company said after Friday's closethat it would likely book a net loss of 4.8 billion yen ($61million) in the six months ending Sept. 30, down from a previousforecast of 1 billion yen profit, due to a fall in the value ofSharp Corp shares that it owns.

Deutsche Securities said in a note that Pioneer would alsolikely have to cut its operating profit estimate for the yearending March 2013 as sales of optical disk drives, home AV andaftermarket car navigation systems may not have recovered.
