Symplified Appoints Cloud Security Marketing Veteran Brian Czarny to Management Team

Cloud Identity and Access Management Leader Taps Former Webroot, MessageLabs Executive as Vice President of Marketing

BOULDER, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Symplified^®, the Cloud Identity Company, today announced that it has appointed Brian Czarny as vice president of marketing. Most recently, Czarny led product management and product strategy for Webroot, a leader in cloud-based anti-malware products for consumers and businesses around the world. He brings extensive IT security marketing and product experience with security-as-a-service pioneer MessageLabs, Code Green Networks and other emerging vendors to Symplified’s management team.

Prior to joining Symplified, Czarny held several executive marketing and product management positions with anti-malware vendor Webroot. He defined and helped drive the company’s highly successful transition from traditional desktop software to a cloud service delivery model for its consumer and business-focused anti-malware products. Previously, he served as vice president of marketing for enterprise data loss prevention (DLP) vendor Code Green Networks. Czarny also served as vice president of global product management and marketing for security-as-a-service pioneer MessageLabs (now Symantec). He developed the strategy for a portfolio of products that served more than 6 million end users in 80+ countries, and built/managed a team responsible for global product strategy, management and marketing. Czarny holds a BA in Journalism from Penn State University.
