CRT U.S. Government Strategists Earn Top Spot in Institutional Investor Ranking for Seventh Consecutive Year

Firm Earns Top Ten Ranking in Fixed-Income Research

STAMFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- CRT Capital Group LLC (“CRT”), an independent institutional broker-dealer based in Stamford, Connecticut, today announced that CRT’s Senior U.S. Government Strategists, David Ader and Ian Lyngen, have been named to Institutional Investor’s 2012 All-America Fixed-Income Research Team as dual winners for both U.S. Governments Strategy and Technical Analysis.

This marks the seventh consecutive year that Messrs. Ader and Lyngen earned the top spot in the Economics & Strategy category. Institutional Investor surveyed more than 1,800 asset managers and 550 buy-side analysts in connection with its 2012 rankings.

CRT also announced that it earned a Top Ten ranking in Institutional Investor’s All-America Fixed-Income Research Team rankings for the second consecutive year. CRT’s strong overall performance was the result of the two best-in-category rankings by Messrs.
