Statement by Theo Rodgers on behalf of A&R Development.

BALTIMORE, Oct. 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- "As the local development partner for the planned Harrah's Baltimore casino, we feel compelled to speak out regarding inaccurate claims made in the most recent ad by out of state interests opposing Question Seven.

"A&R is proud to call Maryland home. Throughout our company's history, we have developed functional and iconic facilities in Maryland and the region. We are equally proud to have been selected to develop the site for the new Harrah's casino in Baltimore - a $400 million investment that will bring 1,200 new jobs when completed.   The 'No On 7' ad dishonestly omits the fact that the license to build the casino was awarded just two months ago ― and that the project is off to a swift start and on-time for a 2013 groundbreaking and 2014 opening. No promise has been broken and the project in Baltimore is on schedule. This is a well documented fact."
