Industry Veteran Philip B. Cox Joins HARDATA as President/CEO

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif., Oct. 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- HARDATA, an Argentina-based developer of workflow efficiency solutions for the broadcast and entertainment industries, announced the appointment of industry veteran Philip B. Cox as President and CEO.  In an announcement to the staff last month, founders Gustavo Pesci and Gustavo Fayard explained that Mr. Cox's initial charter is to establish a world headquarters office in the United States to oversee the company's increased international distribution, manufacturing expansion and technology development.

Mr. Cox brings more than 40 years of corporate executive leadership experience with notable companies including CalAmp Inc., Signal Technology Corp., M/A-Com, Inc. and 360 Systems. He has deep experience with positioning technology companies for rapid growth, building sales organizations and international marketing.

HARDATA entered the digital market in 1997 with the introduction of products that supported the start-up of some of the world's largest satellite networks. The company has been on a steady growth path as a result of enthusiastic acceptance of HARDATA's standardized products including Dinesat, Satellite Control Technologies (SNC) and the HARDATA HDX Server. Today, an installed user-base of more than 3,000 radio stations rely on HARDATA technology to manage digital content distribution.

In the last two years the company branched into the video market with the introduction of several innovative products for television broadcasting.  In 2011 HARDATA. TV (pronounced: hardata dot tv) was introduced. This play-to-air "channel-in-a-box" ecosystem offers commercial and enterprise broadcasters a comprehensive yet easy to implement solution for managing digital and live content.

According to Gustavo Pesci, chairman and founder, "With the successful launch of the HARDATA .TV ecosystem last year and a pipeline of new radio and television products, it became necessary to evolve our organization to support a global footprint. Philip Cox brings the high level leadership and international connections that we wanted, and he will be spearheading initiatives to expand HARDATA'S reach and manufacturing capacity."

The company will be exhibiting at CAPER 2012 (www.caper.org) October 24 - 26, 2012 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. More information on HARDATA can be found at www.hardata.com.
