American Airlines is testing a program that lets fliers bid for first class.

Despite reports, The Plaza hotel in New York is not for sale, according to a statement by it owners, The Sahara Group, published at real estate blog Curbed.

Cities with direct rail access from downtown to airport terminals chalk up 11 percent more revenue per room than hotels in cities without a direct rail connection, according to a study by the American Public Transportation Association and the U.S. Travel Association.
