After-hours buzz: Kraft, AIG, Brocade & More

Check out companies making headlines after the bell Thursday:

Kraft Foods Group - The company reported earnings per share of $1.54, including $1.11 in items. It was not clear whether the figure is comparable to the estimate of 61 cents from Thomson Reuters. Kraft also reported sales of $4.60 billion, just short of expectations for $4.63 billion. Its shares fell in extended-hours trade.

American International Group - The provider of insurance products reported fourth-quarter earnings per share of $1.15, excluding items, on revenue of $8.62 billion, versus EPS estimates of 96 cents excluding items on $8.56 billion in revenue. It also raised its quarterly dividend by 25 percent, to $0.125 a share. Its shares rose in extended-hours trading.

Brocade Communications Systems - The provider of storage networking equipment posted fiscal first-quarter EPS of 24 cents on revenue of $565 million, against calls for EPS of 20 cents on revenue of $550 million. Its shares were up in extended-hours trading.

Weight Watchers International - Shares of the diet company fell sharply in after-hours trading after the company posted weak fourth-quarter earnings and full-year 2014 guidance below its previous outlook and Wall Street's views.
