US Midwest business index higher in Feb, beating forecast

The pace of business activity in the U.S. Midwest rose slightly in February, beating expectations and snapping a three month run of slower growth, a report showed on Friday.

The Institute for Supply Management-Chicago business barometer edged up to 59.8 from 59.6 in January. Economists' median forecast in a Reuters poll was 57.0.
