Jeb Bush is thinking about running for president in 2016. That's what he told a crowd of Republicans at a charity fundraiser in New York on Wednesday.
People have said that the former Florida governor has a good card on his side: Hispanic voters' credibility, something that Republicans have struggled to get.
"He has a Hispanic wife. He speaks Spanish. It will help the Republicans," Starwoood Capital Chairman and CEO Barry Sternlicht told CNBC earlier this month. "He's really made great progress in things that are critically important to the nation like education."
There has been talk about other potential candidates for the next presidential election, among them former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, on the Democrat's side.
