As firefighters continue to battle quickly spreading flames in San Diego County, some remarkable videos are emerging from the disaster area.
This video was shot by the passenger in a car driving through the Mission Hills area of San Marcos, California.
Over the past four days, ten major fires have destroyed at least eight houses, a condominium complex and two businesses.
The forecast may offer some relief. After days of temperatures above 100, the high today is expected to be around 90 with even cooler weather expected this weekend.
