When asked that question in an exclusive interview with NBC News, the 30-year-old American who leaked NSA secrets and is trying to avoid prosecution in the U.S., called it a "really fair concern."

As Snowden explains in this video clip from the Brian WIlliams interview scheduled to air Wednesday night on NBC, it was never his plan to end up in Russia.
