Bad time for a nap: Yahoo's Mayer oversleeps for big meeting

Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer arrived nearly two hours late to a dinner with marketers last Tuesday evening, during the Cannes advertising festival, the Wall Street Journal reported Monday.

The reason? The executive told some attendees she had fallen asleep, people familiar with the matter told the Journal.

Mayer was so late to the private dinner Interpublic Group had arranged that its CEO Michael Roth and other attendees left before she arrived, the sources told the Journal.
