Leon Cooperman, founder of $10.7 billion hedge fund firm Omega Advisors, gave 12 stock recommendations at the Delivering Alpha conference Wednesday. Some were new, such as Actavis and Citigroup. Others were repeats of his previous recommendations made at the conference, such as SandRidge Energy and KKR & Co.
Cooperman broke the stock recommendations into four categories.
First was "growth at a reasonable price," where he picked Actavis, Citigroup and Thermo Fisher.
Cooperman has an exceptional track record at the joint CNBC and Institutional Investor conference. In 2012, all 10 of his stock picks gained over the following 12 months. In 2013, eight out of 10 did.
Generally, Cooperman believes the market is fully but fairly valued.
