Though some started weeks ago, people are now lining up in droves all over the world in anticipation of the release of Apple's iPhone 6 and 6 Plus on Friday. The record demand has already outstripped supply, and preorders sold out last week.
In Singapore, Apple fanboys are already camping out.
In Australia, people are offering themselves as proxies in line (for a fee, of course).
Even in the dark, about 30 people are waiting at the Apple store in Seattle.
Perhaps oddly, here in New York City people appear indifferent (either that or they all got their orders in last Friday morning at 3 a.m.).
