Cool gift ideas for the techie in your life

As technology advances, so do gift ideas. Trae Bodge, senior editor at RetailMeNot.com, highlighted a few of her favorite tech gadget ideas on "The Tech Bet."

Bodge loves that little techies, as young as 4 years old, can have a smartwatch of their own.

VTech's Kidizoom smartwatch can teach kids how to tell time, take and edit photos, and play educational games.

It's PC and Mac compatible, so children can upload photos, videos and voice files straight to a computer.

For the older kids, Bodge says you can buy them a drone of their own. The Sky Viper Camera Drone is a remote-controlled, four-blade copter. Kids can set it up to take photos and videos from up to 100 feet in the air.

It's built-in camera records footage for up to 30 minutes and has a rechargeable battery.

Finally, for those near and far, Bodge likes the Nixplay Edge Wi-Fi Cloud Frame.

The product offers access to photos from websites and social media platforms to create digital photo playlists via a smart device.

You can also send pictures directly from your smartphone to up to five Cloud Frames all over the world.

It has 10 GB of storage, wireless remote control and a motion sensor, turning on when someone enters the room.

It costs about $139 on Amazon.
