Major hedge funders expected at 20th Sohn Conference

The Sohn Conference is celebrating a major milestone, with the investor event marking its 20th anniversary this year. Founded by family and friends of Wall Streeter Ira Sohn, who lost his battle with cancer in 1995 at the age of 29, the organization has raised some $50 million for pediatric cancer research.

This year's conference will take place Monday and feature the all-star lineup that Sohn is known for: hedge fund heavyweights such as Bill Ackman, David Tepper, Leon Cooperman and David Einhorn. CNBC will be live at the conference with exclusive, newsmaking interviews with some of the presenters.
