WAPNER: YOU CAN'T RUN DOWN THE FLOOR WITH GOOGLE GLASSES OR ANYTHING OF THE LIKE WHAT ARE WE TALKING ABOUT WEARABLE TECH IN THE NBA?

BOSH: WELL WEARABLE IS SUCH AN INTERESTING SPACE I THINK OF COURSE EVERYBODY KNOWS ABOUT HOW YOU CAN WEAR IT ON YOUR WRIST AND WITH GOOGLE GLASS AND EVERYTHING BUT ONE OF THE INTERESTING THINGS IS TRYING TO MERGE THAT WITH THE BIG DATA AND THE ANALYTICS ALREADY BECOMING PROMINENT THROUGHOUT THE LEAGUE. YOU KNOW WITH ALL OF THE NUMBERS AND NUMBER CRUNCHING THAT WE DO WE CAN FIND OUT WHERE OUR WEAKNESSES ARE ON THE COURT BUT NOW NOT ONLY THAT WE CAN FIND OUT HOW TO MAXIMIZE GETTING THE MOST OUT OF OUR BODIES AS WELL AS REST AS POSSIBLE AND I THINK HAS BECOME VERY IMPORTANT TO THE ATHLETE AND THERE'S REALLY A LOT OF DATA THAT CAN BE LOOKED AT THAT CAN HELP US OUT.

WAPNER: I GUESS IT IS NOT NEW TO SEE AN ATHLETE BE A LITTLE TECH SAVVY BUT IT SEEMS LIKE YOU TAKE IT TO ANOTHER LEVEL AND THAT'S REALLY HOW YOU GREW UP. CAN YOU TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT THAT BACKGROUND?

BOSH: MY MOTHER AND MY FATHER WE ALWAYS HAD COMPUTERS IN THE HOUSE EVER SINCE THE EARLY 90s WHEN IT WASN'T POPULAR AND EVERYBODY DID NOT HAVE COMPUTERS AND I JUST REMEMBER VIVIDLY THE INTERNET COMING ALONG AND ALL WE DID WAS PLAY GAMES AT FIRST BUT EVENTUALLY AS BANDWIDTH ABILITIES GOT LARGER YOU WERE ABLE TO TAKE PICTURES POST THEM ONLINE GO IN THE CHAT ROOMS COMMUNICATE WITH OTHER PEOPLE AROUND THE WORLD AND THAT REALLY KIND OF SPED THINGS UP. AFTER THAT IT REALLY SPARKED MY CURIOUSITY AND I CONTINUED TO TRY TO LEARN AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE AND YOU KNOW SOFTWARE CONTINUE TO GROW AND CODING IT WAS PRETTY MUCH A BOMB DROPPED ON THE WORLD REALLY WE HAVE BEEN TRYING TO CATCH UP EVER SINCE.

WAPNER: I KNOW YOUR MOM WORKED AT TEXAS INSTRUMENTS AND YOU IN FACT WERE ONE IF NOT THE EARLIEST CERTAINLY ONE OF THE MORE EARLY AND MORE PROLIFIC TWEETERS. I REMEMBER THE TWITTER DOCUMENTARY THAT WE DID WHEN MY PAL CARL QUINTANILLA CAUGHT UP WITH YOU I THINK OUT ON THE COURT.

BOSH: OH YEAH I REMEMBER WHEN TWITTER CAME OUT I THINK IN 2006 IF I AM NOT MISTAKEN AND I HAD FRIENDS CONVINCING ME NO YOU HAVE TO TWEET YOU'VE GOT TO DO THIS AND I CAN'T SIT UP HERE AND SAY THAT THEY CONVINCED ME VERY QUICKLY RIGHT OFF THE BAT BUT EVENTUALLY WE GOT TO IT AND YOU KNOW I JUST HAD SO MANY GUYS THAT WERE JUST LIKE NO YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND THIS IS THE FUTURE OF THE INTERNET THIS IS HOW PEOPLE ARE GOING TO CONNECT AND YOU KNOW THEY ARE TELLING ME ALL THESE FUTURISTIC STORIES AND IT IS KIND OF UNBELIEVABLE WHEN YOU THINK ABOUT IT. IT HAS BEEN 9 YEARS ALREADY AND IT IS AMAZING HOW EVERYTHING HAS GROWN BUT JUST HOW THE NOT ONLY THE TECH SPACE BUT SOCIAL MEDIA SPACE HAS CONNECTED SO MANY PEOPLE AND SPARKED SO MANY IDEAS AND THEN SO MANY REVOLUTIONS HAPPENED. IT HAS BEEN AMAZING.

NAJARIAN: CHRIS JUST A QUICK QUESTION ABOUT WEARABLE TECH THE KIND THAT UNDER ARMOUR AND NIKE PRODUCING RATHER THAN WRIST BANDS AND WATCHES OR GOOGLE GLASS OR ANYTHING ELSE THAT ARE UNLIKELY TO BE PART OF A SERIOUS ATHLETES TRAINING REGIMINE. WHAT'S THE MOST IMPRESSIVE THING YOU HAVE SEEN AS FAR AS WEARABLE TECH FROM ANY OF THOSE BIG PROVIDERS?

BOSH: WELL I THINK ONE OF THE MOST INTERESTING THINGS IS HOW THEY ARE TRYING TO INTEGRATE THE WEARABLE TECH IN THE CLOTHING. YOU DON'T KNOW IF IT IS GOING TO REALLY JUMP OFF AND BE A HUGE IDEA BUT YOU KNOW IT IS THERE AND THEY ARE TINKERING WITH IT AND THE FACT THAT YOU CAN HAVE WEARABLE TECH THAT GIVES YOU INFORMATIONAL FEEDBACK IN YOUR SHIRT THAT YOU WEAR WHEN YOU ARE RUNNING TWO MILES OR DOING WHATEVER IT IS THAT YOU DO WEIGHTLIFTING OR WORKING ON THE COURT OR THE FIELD THAT QUITE AMAZING AND I THINK THE NEXT THING IS TO ACTUALLY GET THAT INFORMATION AND USE IT THE WAY THAT YOU WANT TO.

WAPNER: IS THAT THE REASON YOU ARE DOWN AT THE CONFERENCE?

BOSH: I AM ACTUALLY A JUDGE HERE WE ARE JUDGING STARTUPS LOCAL STARTUPS HERE IN MIAMI AND REALLY AROUND THE WORLD. IT IS ABOUT 10 FINALISTS RIGHT NOW AND THEY'RE GOING TO GIVE US THEIR PITCH AND YOU KNOW WE ARE GOING TO PICK A WINNER.

WAPNER: YEAH I KNOW YOU ARE DOING THAT BY DAY AND BY NIGHT YOU WISH YOU WERE STILL IN THE NBA PLAYOFFS OF COURSE WHY DON'T YOU TELL US WHO IS GOING TO WIN. THE CLIPPERS LOOK GOOD, WIZARDS LOOK PRETTY GOOD

BOSH: MAN YOU KNOW WHAT IT IS SO COMPLICATED RIGHT NOW ESPECIALLY WITH THE CHAMPS GOING DOWN THERE IS GOING TO BE A NEW CHAMPION. YOU CAN NEVER COUNT ANY OF THE GUYS OUT YOU KNOW THE BULLS THEY PLAY WELL IN CLEVELAND LAST NIGHT, CLEVELAND NEEDS TO GET 100% HEALTHY AND YOU KNOW GET THEIR WHOLE TEAM BACK WELL WITHOUT LOVE AS CLOSE TO THEIR WHOLE TEAM BACK AS POSSIBLE, THE WARRIORS ARE ROLLING RIGHT NOW SO IT WILL BE REALLY REALLY INTERESESTING O SEE WHAT HAPPENS.
