China's expanding middle class has spawned a new wave of ultra-rich, so it's no surprise that the majority of Asia's youngest self-made billionaires come from the mainland.

The total net worth of individuals featured on the list is $19.3 billion, out of which $11 billion belongs to Chinese entrepreneurs, according to data compiled by Wealth-X for CNBC. The rankings underscore China's ability to churn out billionaires even as economic growth slows to multi-year lows.

Overall, male technopreneurs dominated the rankings, with 9 out of 10 individuals amassing their wealth from internet software firms and social networks.

Home to the third biggest population of billionaires, Asia's wealthy is now expected to outpace Europe over the next decade, according to Wealth-X.
