McDonald's has kicked its advertising efforts up a notch by taking to Tinder.

The fast food giant has set up a Tinder profile in Australia, the Daily Mail reported Thursday. The profile's location is set to Sydney and includes a photo of a "Spicy Jalapeno" and a "Lonesome Pineapple."

It was first discovered by Australia-based reporter Andrew Brown, who then took a screenshot of the profile and sent it via Twitter.

McDonald's Australia even responded to the reporter's initial Tweet, asking him: "Did we tantalise you enough for a swipe right?"

Brown responded with a simple "no."

McDonald's later confirmed that this is a promotion giving away a trip to Thailand.

Tinder did not immediately respond to CNBC's request for comment.
