Walmart supplier recalls about 90K pounds of beef patties

Nearly 90,000 pounds of beef products are being recalled by Huisken Meat Company due to possible contamination with extraneous wood, the USDA announced Monday.

The company is recalling Sam's Choice Black Angus beef patties with 19 percent Vidalia Onion with use-by dates of May 17 2016 and June 6 2016. The recall includes two pound boxes containing six pieces of the patties and the establishment number "EST. 394A" inside the USDA mark of inspection.

The patties shipped to Walmart locations nationwide.

So far, no one has reported any injuries. People who bought the product should not eat it and instead throw it away or return it to the place of purchase.
