Morgan Stanley CEO James Gorman joined CNBC on Thursday morning from the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, to share his views on the stock market and the economy.
During the interview, Gorman pointed to oil as the "wild card" this year, admitting that most investors did not anticipate such sharp losses. But as the commodity hovers around a multiyear low, he believes there could be an opportunity to make lots of money for those willing to wait.
"Supply and demand (will) eventually rebalance. We've seen this again and again and again," Gorman said. "The question is if you got the stomach to live through this rebalance."
