Spring Cleaning Your Portfolio

In honor of Groundhog Day and Punxsutawney Phil not seeing his shadow, the Halftime Report experts decided to do some spring cleaning of their portfolios. Each gave their idea on the stocks that it may be time to get rid of.

Joe Terranova says the time by right to dump the S&P 500 2015 laggards. Some of last year's biggest losers have been this year's leaders including Wal-Mart, Macy's and Southwestern Energy. Terranova says their run may be coming to an end.

TIAA-CREF portfolio manager, Stephanie Link, says it's time to sell the mining names here. Names like Vale, Freeport-McMoran, BHP Billiton and Alcoa will continue to struggle for some time.

Finally, Pete Najarian is looking to dump BP after the company reported it's worst annual loss in 20 years. Pete is long the name here but says he could pull the trigger soon.
