Social data: Nordstrom trending before earnings

Nordstrom is in the midst of a fundamental turnaround, according to data from a social media tracking firm. Just in time as the upscale retailer is set to report earnings Thursday.

LikeFolio, a company that measures enthusiasm on social media for brands and products owned by public companies, says "purchase intent" for Nordstrom has almost doubled in the last four months.
