Stocks are off to a bullish start in March, with the Dow surging more than 300-points on Tuesday.

Art Hogan, chief market strategist at Wunderlich Securities, tells CNBC's "Power Lunch" the market may get some clarity about the general election after Super Tuesday.

"We may well see a shift from the extremes of the far left and right to the inevitable move to the center that is characteristic of a general election," Hogan said.

If we do get a better picture of the matchup this November, Hogan believes the market can move higher from these levels.

"Over the last 20 years, the Dow has averaged a gain of 1.36 percent in March with positive returns 14 of 20 times," Hogan said.

Two of Hogan's favorite sectors now are technology and REITs and his top picks are Paycom Software, City Office REIT and STORE Capital Corp.

Paycom Software, City Office and Store are all higher during trading.
