An outage hit several national DirecTV channels on Tuesday afternoon.
"We are aware of the outage involving several HD channels and some SD channels and are working to resolve it as quickly as possible. We'll share more information as it becomes available. We apologize to our customers for the inconvenience," the company said in a statement.
Telecom giant AT&T owns DirecTV.
Though Twitter users reported problems with some major sports and news channels earlier in the day, all channels were restored by late Tuesday afternoon, according DirecTV's Twitter account that manages service-related issues.
