Oil tycoon throws lavish Moscow wedding for son

Falling oil prices across the globe did not stop oil tycoon Mikhail Gutseriev from throwing his son, Said Gutseriev, a lavish wedding Saturday, according to Contactmusic.

Said and his bride, Khadija Uzhakhovs, exchanged vows before holding the Moscow reception where high-profile entertainers performed, including Jennifer Lopez, Sting and Enrique Iglesias.

Wedding guests posted numerous videos of the performances on Instagram, as well as shots of the colorful flora that covered walls, arches and canopies.

The extravagant celebration also included a fireworks display and a nine-tiered wedding cake, Contactmusic reported. The bride donned a custom-beaded Elie Saab gown.

Of course, the celebration was pennies and nickels for Mikhail Gutseriev, who according to Forbes is worth $6.2 billion.
