Amazon expands Dash Button options

Amazon.com users can now get condoms in the click of a button.

The e-commerce giant on Thursday said it added brands including Starbucks, Trojan and Clorox to its Dash Button program. Customers can click a button to order household supplies from more than 100 brands.

This announcement comes one year after the button was introduced.

The program covers everyday items from food to drinks and cleaning supplies. The company said Dash Button orders have grown by more than 75 percent in the last three months.

"We're thrilled with the positive response we've seen for Dash Buttons—and we heard loud and clear from customers that they wanted more brands, more categories, and more products in the program," said Daniel Rausch, Director of Amazon Dash.

With one click of the Dash Button for $4.99 each, Amazon Prime members can automatically order everyday essentials to their doorsteps. Some of the newly announced brands of button include: Brawny, Charmin, Quaker, Doritos and Energizer.
