When the super rich want to live the "suite life," they can drop tens of thousands of dollars on a single night in one of the world's most expensive hotels.

From top-secret rooms in Las Vegas to a suspended suite overlooking the Persian Gulf, here are eight VIP penthouses and suites that come with surprising ultraluxe perks after check-in.

Manhattan's most exclusive ZIP codes has a luxury hotel that was once home to Hollywood star Bette Davis and former President John F. Kennedy.

The Surrey hotel, on New York City's Upper East Side, is an iconic building that was converted from a residence/hotel to a posh getaway for elite celebrities. But the 2,127-square-foot Presidential Suite still feels like home with a fireplace, sauna, claw-foot tub and walk-in closets.

The $15,000 a night price tag also includes a private seating area overlooking Central Park.

The Fairmont in San Francisco is home to a 6,000-square-foot penthouse that spans the entire eighth floor of its historic main building. The three-bedroom suite includes a formal dining room, a billiard room, and a two-story circular library with a ceiling painted in gold leaf.

It wouldn't be a stretch to call this penthouse suite a "presidential" suite either. In 1945, President Harry Truman and other world leaders used the space for meetings where they discussed drafting the charter that created the United Nations.

One unusual perk is the 200,000 honeybees on the property that produce "suite" honey for VIP guests.

There's no mistaking where you are when you walk into the crystal bedazzled lobby of the Baccarat Hotel in midtown Manhattan. The 250-year-old French crystal company now runs a chic hotel filled with millions of dollars worth of crystal chandeliers, making it a perfect showroom for one of the largest collections of Baccarat crystal in the world.

The 1,740-square-foot penthouse hotel suite costs $20,000 a night.

The only thing better than rocking a big pair of jewels is sleeping with them. The Martin Katz Jewel Suite at the Lotte New York Palace lets you do just that in this three-story hotel suite that functions more like a life-size jewel box.

Display cases in the grand foyer showcase the diamond creations of jeweler to the stars Martin Katz. Visitors can take in views of New York City's own crown jewels, the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, from their own private balcony.

There's an ultra-exclusive hotel within Las Vegas' Ceasars Palace where celebrities and the super rich love to sleep over: The Nobu Hotel.

Think of it as a hotel within a hotel. The luxurious lodging includes a secret, $35,000-a-night penthouse villa that spreads out over 10,300 square feet. Guests of this three-bedroom penthouse have included Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift and P. Diddy. Some of the biggest perks? A rooftop hot tub and access to a private, in-room sushi chef 24 hours.

The world's highest suspended hotel suite can be found at the St. Regis Abu Dhabi, nearly 700 feet in the air.

A private elevator whisks VIPs up to this 12,000-square-foot megasuite, which features a grand living room connecting its two wings. The room also includes gold-leaf ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows, and reveals stunning views of the gulf.

The three-bedroom suite includes a personal butler, dining room, private cinema and full-service spa. For guests who like to live the high life, the suite also has its own private rooftop helipad for a speedy commute.

Ty Warner Penthouse Suite

The Ty Warner Penthouse, located at the top of Manhattan's Four Seasons Hotel, is the ultimate in luxury. The 4,300-square-foot space takes up the entire 52nd floor of the building.

The suite was designed by Beanie Baby billionaire Ty Warner, who owns the prestigious New York City hotel. Guests of this pricey penthouse enjoy unobstructed panoramic views of Manhattan from the suite's four glass balconies. Cathedral ceilings, a private Zen room with waterfall, and a 600-square-foot master bedroom are just some of the luxuries offered in this over-the-top penthouse suite.

The Venetian hotel in Las Vegas has 3,000 rooms, but a secret few are "unbookable." These swanky suites are reserved for some of the highest rollers on the Strip and are booked by invite only.

Some of the best perks? High rollers sleeping in these rooms get access to a secret club, and in some cases, a private plane. The hotel declined to say how much VIP clients must spend to qualify, but it did say its biggest spenders are from all over the world.
