McDonald's to offer all-you-can-eat fries

Hardcore French fry fans might want to think about booking a summer vacation to St. Joseph, Missouri. The McDonald's restaurant there is offering an all-you-can-eat fries option on its menu.

This limited promotion is in honor of the grand opening of a new McDonald's restaurant in the city this July. The company is slated to hire 85 new employees to man the state-of-the-art location.

"This unique 6,500-square-foot location will also offer customizable desserts, sandwiches, and burgers, as well as table service," the company told CNBC. "It will have several digital kiosks for customers to order their food, a 'party room' for rent, and modern-looking couches and arm chairs for hanging out."

The storefront is estimated to cost nearly $1.6 million, St. Joseph News-Press reported.

"Today's customers seek a comfortable and inviting atmosphere," Chris Habiger, the owner the new McDonald's, told News-Press. "So we're committed to providing a modern look and feel to this restaurant."
