Prince's death hit so hard, even Donald Trump misses him

Donald Trump is a Prince fan. Who knew?

The GOP presidential frontrunner tweeted his regards for the iconic singer on Friday, one day after his sudden death at his Minnesota recording studio.

Trump's tweet had about 10,000 likes after two hours, roughly in line with his more regular political fare.

Of course, the two do have a bit of a musical connection.

Prince wrote a song for The Time's 1990 album Pandemonium entitled "Donald Trump (Black Version)."

The chorus of the song went:

Donald Trump (black version), maybe that's what you need.
A man that fulfills your every wish, your every dream.
Donald Trump (black version), come on take a chance.
A 1990's love affair, the real romance.
